Recent Traffic Mitigation, installation of "Slow" painted signage

I have also included this on the "Discussion Board" so that neighbors can provide their thought. As all of you would have seen, the township has painted the upper section of W. Ridge. The "SLOW" markings are located on top of W. Ridge, just on the Upper Providence side of road. Another one located at the top of the blind curve and the last one above the intersection for Woodview. I am generally positive of these initial actions by the township and have informed both the Township Manager and our local District 4 representative. Additionally, I have reached out to the township to ensure that our neighbors are consulted before any invasive mitigations are applied/installed. I believe it is important that we all have a voice regarding any invasive mitigations, examples of invasive mitigations could be but are not limited to: • Speedbumps • Rumble Strips • Parking Restrictions • Sidewalk installations Over the weekend, I have received responses back from the township that any invasive mitigations would include consultation with neighbors. Please let me know what your thoughts are on this topic, what you support, what you oppose. I will make sure that any discussions are shared with the neighborhood and if there are any township meetings, that information is posted and shared with the neighbors, so that you have an opportunity to be heard.

A new website for Edgewold

Edgewold has a new website. It's built to make communication easier between the board and residents, to give the association a real public face, and to keep records — bylaws, meeting minutes, forms — somewhere durable and accessible. Residents can sign in to see the full member area; everyone else can read about the neighborhood, the park, and what the board is working on. If you live in Edgewold and haven't received a sign-in invitation, reach out to the board.

Bylaw modernization underway

The board is working through a restatement of the association's bylaws, which were last amended in February 1992. The current document still references the swim club that closed a decade ago, member share certificates that no longer exist, and a governance structure that doesn't reflect how Edgewold actually operates. The working documents — a findings summary and an executive summary of strategic options — are available in the bylaws section of the site. A restated draft will be circulated to members ahead of a vote.
